The Papa Pihi HI that we designed for use under OS 7 and which worked through OS 9 cannot be installed in OS X. You must however have OS X 10.2 or higher in order to install this keyboard. The HI Fonts for Macintosh that Hale Kuamo‘o makes available on this website are usable on all releases of OS X, and the installation instructions for the fonts are identical on all versions of OS X. However, the Papa Pihi HI for OS X will only be usable on OS X 10.2. and higher. Do not attempt to install the Papa Pihi HI on earlier versions of OS X
